🚧 **Attention Waurika Residents!** 🚧
We want to inform you that on Monday, October 7th, the City of Waurika and Jefferson County District crews will begin much-needed roadwork along Meridian Street. This project will kick off at the North Meridian bridge and will continue south to D Ave.
What to Expect:
- Traffic Disruptions: Crews will be working every day next week, so please plan for delays and seek alternative routes if possible.
- Road Closures: Some sections will be closed off for safety, so stay alert and follow any and all posted signage.
- Access to Driveways: Residents along Meridian should be mindful that access to and from driveways will be temporarily shut down until equipment moves past each residence.
Important Reminders:
- Respect Barricades and Signage: Your safety and the safety of our workers is our top priority. Please do not attempt to navigate through closed areas.
- Avoid the Area: We encourage everyone to steer clear of Meridian Street during the construction to help minimize traffic congestion.
